Test strips are available at a variety of locations around Fraser Health, for more information visit https://www.fraserhealth.ca/drugchecking 

The following location use both FTIR and immunoassay strips (fentanyl and benzodiazepines) in their drug checking services:
Surrey:

  • SafePoint Supervised Consumption Site (13459 107a Avenue)
  • Onsite checking is available on Wednesdays from 12pm–5pm.
  • Samples can also be dropped-off anytime outside these hours.
  • All drop-off samples will be checked on Wednesdays.
  • Foxglove Supportive Housing Complex – RainCity Housing (9810 Foxglove Drive)
  • Onsite checking is available on Fridays from 11:30am-7:00pm. 

New Westminster:

  • Starship Health Contact Centre (Purpose Society) (40 Begbie Street)
  • Monday to Friday from 9am-6pm.
  • Samples can also be dropped-off anytime outside these hours.

Burnaby:

  • Burnaby Housing and Outreach Hub (Progressive Housing) (7836 6th Street)
  • Onsite checking is available on Fridays from 9:30am-3:30pm.
  • Samples can also be dropped-off anytime outside these hours.

Other Fraser Health locations are only using fentanyl test strips for their drug checking services.
