Drug alerts may be sent out if a sample is found to contain potentially harmful or unexpected substances in a sample. Detailed information about the substance, colour and texture and any other details are shared with the Health Authority where the substance was tested and an alert may be sent out to the public to keep the community and public informed. Each health authority has their own form of alerting and we summarize the findings from our drug checking partners on this website.
